Arvida Players provides students with meaningful opportunities to develop their talents while building skills they can carry into the classroom and throughout their lives. They learn preparation and responsibility. They experience collaboration. They practice communicating in front of others. They discover the courage to try something new, receive feedback, and try again.
And, of course, they get to experience the pure joy of making theatre together.
From school productions to performances at school, and community events students have opportunities to develop their craft, work together, and experience the excitement of performing for an audience.
Students have the opportunity practice their skills monthly during our spotlight cafe. This is a great opportunity to showcase their talent and craft.
Arvida Players have the opportunity to participate in District competition, where they prepare, perform, receive feedback, meet other young theatre students, and challenge themselves to grow.

Field trips to professional musicals and theatre productions give students the chance to experience live professional theatre and see the skills they are learning performed at another level.
Special opportunities, including the planned New York City theatre experience, allow students to see new possibilities, experience theatre beyond South Florida, and make memories with their fellow Players.
Spotlight Café is a chance to see Arvida Players doing what they love. Students step into the spotlight to share their talents in a relaxed, community-centered setting while gaining valuable experience performing in front of a live audience. Come cheer them on, enjoy the performances, and be part of the community supporting these young artists.
